Adding and Managing News
To create a new News article, navigate to Content -> Add content -> Article.

If you’d like to edit an existing news item, you can do it one of two ways:
-
Select “Edit” in the list of options at the top of the article (Shown Below)
-
Navigate the content dashboard and select “Article” in the “Content Type” dropdown menu at the top of the page. This will present you with all Articles, sorted by the date they were last edited.
- You will then be presented with the following page:

Here’s a breakdown of each field:
- Title: Title that will appear at the top of the page and in search results. This is also used to generate the URL, so a title of “Example Site Page” would have a URL that ends with “example-site-page”.
- Date: The date this News is intended for. Usually this is now, when the article is written, but it can also be set to a later date if you intend to wait to publish it.
- Post Type: This is used to break off articles into separate types. The standard type is News, but some sites add “Blog”, “Press Release” and other types to create separate feeds.
- Summary: Brief description of the article’s contents. Appears in News page and search results.
- Body: The content of the article.
- Image: An image used for the top of the article and as a thumbnail on the news page.
